kindergarten Supply list

  • 1 regular-sized, sturdy backpack

The following items could be donated to your child’s class (without their name on it):

  • Small white glue bottles
  • Glue sticks
  • Boxes of crayons (Crayola only, please)
  • Small pairs of scissors
  • Variety of “Ziploc” baggies
  • Computer paper
  • Regular baby wipes (for cleaning tables)
  • Boxes of Kleenex
  • Gift cards for the teachers to purchase school supplies for their class, such as pencil boxes, homework folders, etc. (Target, Walmart, Staples)

Kindergarten expectations

  • Getting used to being away from their parents
  • Tying shoes & buttoning pants
  • Using the restroom appropriately/washing hands (especially boys)
  • Writing his/her first name- capital first letter, lowercase the rest
  • Knowing the letter names and sounds
  • Recognizing and naming numbers to 10
  • Knowing colors & shapes
  • Using scissors
