
5th grade students applied their math skills to solve real life problems during the 5th grade Math Lab. The students had to plan a well balanced BBQ meal (all the major food groups) while staying under budget and solving instant challenges. Our district math content coach was the special guest, judge, and observer to today's Cooking Show Style Challenge. The advertisements were donated by a local grocery store. Go Sharks!

Welcome back to the 2024-25 school year! Some friendly reminders as the year gets underway. There is NO IN-PERSON instruction this week. Homeroom teachers will be reaching out to each family for intake meetings and there will be activities in HOMEROOM ONLY this week. Regular instruction begins on Monday and MS and HS students will be invited into academic classrooms then. This year there will be no in-person instruction on Wednesdays. Please reach out to your homeroom teachers if you have any questions! Let's have a great year Sharks!


California Department of Public Health (CDPH) will be hosting a Vaccination event on: June 12th from 9am-12pm at the Hesperia Unified School District. Note: This event is not organized or implemented by HUSD.



Principal Maxwell had the honor to have lunch last week with Sierra and Sophie. Sierra wants to be a psychologist and Sophie likes science. Sophie also played on the Shadow Ridge secondary e-sports team this year. Both of these fabulous ladies earned lunch with their Shark Bucks! Great job and go Sharks!

High school forensic science students completed their final project by having to solve a crime. They had to investigate a mock crime scene, collect evidence and interview suspects to solve the crime. Go Sharks!
Los estudiantes de ciencias forenses de secundaria completaron su proyecto final al tener que resolver un crimen. Tuvieron que investigar una escena de crimen simulada, recolectar pruebas y entrevistar a los sospechosos para resolver el crimen. Vamos tiburones!
